TODAY’S MANNA for Tuesday May 31, 2016

TODAY’S MANNA for Tuesday May 26, 2015

What part of “I have forgiven thee” do you not understand?

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Psalms 103:1-3 King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
He said it in His Word, we need to believe it. I have forgiven you, I have healed you, I will cause you to prosper and gain wealth. Actually that’s pretty straight forward. Why is it so hard to believe? He said in Matthew 6:14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you”, in Exodus 15:26 “…for I am the LORD that healeth thee.”, in Nehemiah 2:20 “… The God of heaven, he will prosper us;… “, in Luke 6:38 “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom…”, in 1 Peter 2:24 “…who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness–by whose stripes you were healed.” And in many other places through out the Holy Scriptures. These are also past tense – already done! Why is it so hard to believe? Quit listening to man and his doctrines of demons. Quit listening to those preachers who do NOT rightly discern the Word of God, Quit listening with your natural ears and listen with the ears of your spirit and get the Word of God in your heart – your inner most spirit!

MY PRAYER…
Holy Father, I thank You for making me one of Your children, for forgiving my transgressions and my iniquities. But father, You also said that You healed me of my diseases. Father, help me to understand that You have already done this, that it is not something You might do in the future. You also said you would prosper me and everything that I set my hand to. Father, help me to increase my faith and to receive that which You have already so graciously provided through Your Son, Jesus. In Jesus name I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Monday May 30, 2016

Did you die in Christ so that you can live in Christ?

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:8-11 New King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
We must understand what happened to Jesus on the Cross that day happened for us. We must know who we are in and through Him. When we understand that it also happened already to us, that we were there on the cross with Him (by faith), then and only then will we consider ourselves dead to sin. Once you consider yourself dead to sin you will no longer commit it. You will realize that you have dominion over sin. This will only come about when you get real revelation knowledge (when you know, that you know, that you know, that you know, in your heart) of what Jesus did for you and not just “head” knowledge (memorizing and being able to regurgitate the scriptures is NOT revelation knowledge).

MY PRAYER…
Father, I pray that the eyes of our understanding be opened, that You fill our hearts with revelation knowledge of Jesus Christ and Him crucified for us. That we may know from our hearts (our spirit man) what happened to Him for us and that it also happened to us in Your eyes. Father, fill us with Your spirit that we may walk in the newness of life that only comes from the life giving power of Your Holy Spirit. Let that same life giving power that raised Jesus from the dead; live, dwell, abide, and make it’s permanent home in our hearts. In Jesus name I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Sunday May 29, 2016

Nothing in the Law (10 commandments) can justify you before God

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Galatians 2:16 King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Are you justified? Justified: To be in right standing before God. Can you stand before the Creator of the Universe and be acquitted? There is only one thing you can do that will justify you before the Lord God Almighty. That one thing is to believe by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and what happened to Him for you on the Cross, and accept Him as your Lord and Savior! All the works of the law (Religion and religious works, keeping the ten commandments, being good, doing good, even going to church regularly, etc.) that you do will not justify you before the Lord God Almighty nor will it stand the test of fire on the day of judgment. Only what you have done by faith in Jesus will remain. Knowing ‘about’ Him is NOT enough. You must have had a personal day to day relationship with Jesus. If you have, He will stand before the Father and say “Father, this is Pastor Duane (insert your name here if this true for you), he is one of mine. I have justified him before You!”

MY PRAYER…
Everlasting Father, may Your love for Your people continue to be burned into my spirit. May what You had Jesus do for “ME” that day on the Cross be forever engrained in my heart, may I never cease to remember and to give You thanks and praise for loving me so much before I ever loved You. Father, I thank You that I have been justified (2000 plus years ago) by the Blood of Your Only begotten Son and that by my faith in Him I can come boldly before Your Throne of grace and mercy and that I may partake of all the blessings of heaven here on earth. Through the name of Jesus, who loves me, I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Saturday, May 28, 2016

Do you love the sound and fury of power?

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
1 Corinthians 1:18-19 New King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Power! Mankind loves power. We love the sound and fury of power, especially when it is at work for us. We love the ability to change things that power brings. But think about the power that was held back when Almighty God’s only begotten Son was persecuted and murdered on the Cross so we could be saved. Too many people stop right there and think “I’m saved, that means I’m going to heaven”, and fail to realize the full and awesome power released through the Cross that day over 2000 years ago, and then the exponential power release 3 days later at the resurrection, when the rest of God’s power through the Holy Spirit was released. The resurrection, that’s the greatest power ever unleashed on this earth and just think what it made available to us. My Bible says: “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you.” (Romans 8:11) Quicken your mortal body, make it healed and healthy and whole and full of life! Salvation is a package deal, why would anyone want to remove just one item from the gift box they received and be satisfied when the box is full of many more gifts! What about our healing, our prosperity, freedom from bondage and depression, our deliverance from all the works of the devil. ALL these are there in that same gift box from God also. So many denominations stop at just being saved and going to heaven someday. But, Jesus bought ALL of God’s gifts for us when He went to Hell in our place and defeated the Devil. It’s part of the package deal. Now that’s an awesome display of power.

MY PRAYER…
Holy and Majestic Father on high, I praise You for Your incredible might and power. But I also thank You for Your love, mercy, and grace which guides the release of that power. Thank You for helping me to realize that I am but as the dust of the earth without Your sustaining Spirit. Thank You for saving me by withholding Your mighty judgmental power so I could be pardoned by the mercy and grace of Your sacrificial power. That because I was washed in the Blood of Your Holy Son Jesus, I am now cleansed and righteous before You. Thanks Dad, for not giving me what I deserved, but Love, Grace, and Mercy instead. Through blood of Jesus I offer this prayer.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Friday May 27, 2016

Are your prayers pro-active or reactive prayers?

O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.
Isaiah 25:1 New International Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
God’s actions are NOT reactions to current situations, but part of His long-term plan to bring redemption to the lost. Yes, He has done marvelous things: He took the evil intent of a mob who cried “Crucify Him” and turned it into an opportunity to fulfill the prophesies and redeem us. He took my wife and I half way around the world to be a part of the redemption of over 12,000 spirits for His Kingdom in Feb. – Mar. 2000. He protected lives and prevented the attempt on Sep 11, 2001 from taking the huge toll of lives that the attackers had hoped for originally. So don’t ask where God was on 9/11/2001 he was hard at work preventing many more from dying than did. He has instead turned many lives back to His Kingdom and to prayer. It’s His plan, His way, or no way. He is perfect in faithfulness and has done and will continue to do marvelous things. If we let Him. Important point: “If We Let Him!”, your choice. Pray for prevention it before it happens, NOT after when you then need a miracle.

MY PRAYER…
Holy God, You surprise me with new wonders and new things daily. Yet deep in my heart I know they are not new to You. You ask new things of me daily and yet I know they are not new to You. Thank You for not making life boring or predictable so I might thirst and hunger after more of You. You who are forever fresh, new, exciting, and marvelous. Lord I will exalt You and praise Your name, for You are perfect and faithful always.
Through my Savior, Jesus Christ, I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Thursday May 26, 2016

Are you growing in your salvation?

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
1 Peter 2:2-3 New International Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Salvation is a most precious thing! But like a newborn baby needs it’s mother’s milk, we need pure and wholesome Spiritual teaching (food for our spirit man) from our Father through the Word of God, so that we can grow and mature in the spirit. But if we stay in the same place spiritually and do the same things we did when we were newly saved we are not growing and maturing. We have to grow spiritually! Read and meditate Hebrews chapters 5 & 6 and see what God has to say about remaining immature! We must really want to grow. We must crave what is good and what builds us up from God’s Word. Now go and read and meditate Galatians chapters 3 & 4 also. We must get a hold of all that is included in the salvation package. Salvation is not just going to heaven when you die. Salvation is a total package deal! Get out your concordance and look up salvation in both the Hebrew and the Greek. It includes health, prosperity, well being, peace of mind, deliverance, as well as eternal life and it’s for now, not for when when we get to heaven. “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” We are to have Heaven on earth. What are you going to do about it today to satisfy your spiritual appetite? The choice is yours!

MY PRAYER…
Mighty God, thank You for loving me, saving me, and making me a son and an heir. I really want to mature in Your Love and Grace. Bless me today as I seek to pattern myself after Your Holy example, Jesus. Father, increase my territory and my influence, that I may share Your Gospel with all I come to know. Help me Father to fill myself spiritually with the things that will help me grow. But Holy God, I know that true growth comes only from and through You, for You give the increase. So I ask You to strengthen me by Your Holy Spirit as I pursue Your character. Through Jesus’ mighty name
I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Wednesday, May 25, 2016

Christians praying for other Christians what a concept!

Since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.
Colossians 1:9 New International Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Christians praying for Christians. Praying that each would be filled the knowledge of God’s will through His Spiritual wisdom and understanding. Isn’t it gratifying to know that others are praying for your wisdom and understanding of God’s will for your life? But in order for you to get that wisdom and spiritual understanding you must be reading and meditating His Word daily and you must be praying for it and others also. You must be doing His Word.
Of course one of the best prayers is the prayer that Paul prayed for the Colossian friends he had never met — “I ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.” Let’s pray that for each other daily. Denominationalism is a device of the devil designed to split and divide Christians, Jesus never told us to make denominations, in fact He: “Am I divided?” We need to look unto Jesus, the Author and the Finisher of our Faith and to stand together and unite at this time more than at any other time past. Especially as we see the Day approaching soon.

MY PRAYER…
Holy Father, I pray for the other believers who come before You Lord and seek to live for You. I pray especially for those who share in this daily manna e-mail listing with me. Even though we may all not know each other in the natural we can know each other by the spirit. We all know that our deepest need is to know You more each anad everyday and to live Your will and to be confident that we are known and loved by You. Father, continue to fill all of us with the knowledge of Your will through Holy Spirit-led wisdom and understanding. We want to know You, honor You, serve You, and ultimately see You face-to-face. Through our Lord and Savior Jesus, we pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Tuesday May 24, 2016

Are you praying for all men – especially your leaders?

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
1 Tim 2:1-3 King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Notice that we are to FIRST OF ALL offer supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks for ALL men. That means before we do anything else and yes that includes even those with whom you may not agree, especially if they are in a place of authority over you. Like your government. Even and especially for those who may not yet know our Lord and God, even to those who are our natural enemies. But do not gripe and complain about what they are or are not doing if you are NOT praying for them. But the Word of God goes on to say that we must pray for those in authority so that we can lead quiet and peaceable lives and that this is good in the sight of our God. We must all continue to pray for wisdom, patience, knowledge, and the will and plan of God (“…Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven…”) for our leaders like never before. Especially now with things the way they are in world around us. Not just once in some prayer vigil, but rather continually, everyday.

MY PRAYER…
Father I thank You for Your leadership and Your guidance. Lord thank You for hearing our prayers and for providing the necessary wisdom, knowledge, and strength to our country’s leaders at this present time. Father, prepare our leaders for the task still ahead of them. For the rebuilding and the strengthening of this country and its people. Lord I pray that you would silence the mouths of those who talk against our leadership and in turn are talking against You Lord. Show them, Lord Your way of doing things. Thank You that You are at work in the hearts of men even now, causing them to want to and giving them the strength to do Your will. Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done here on Earth Lord, just as it is done in Heaven. Through Jesus’ mighty name I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Monday May 23, 2016

You have been called by God!

God has chosen you to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.
Colossians 1:27-28 New International Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Yes you, the Church, the body of Christ (not just Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, but the lay people of the church also), God has chosen you to tell the lost of this world about the Glorious riches of His mystery, Christ living inside you! Christ lives in me. The Greater One lives in me. God has made ALL believers Ambassadors of Christ to the world! His Love has been poured out into our hearts by His Spirit so that we can share it with the world. Until we are made completely like Him through the power of the Holy Spirit at the resurrection (2 Cor 3:18), He lives in us. Until we can go to live in the mansion He has already prepared for us in Our Father’s House He lives in us. Everywhere we go and everything we do, He is with us, He is in us. “For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And you are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:” (Colossians 2:9-10) My job, your job, OUR job, is to tell the lost of this world about this Glorious Mystery and about His Love, so that they can come to know Him inside of them also. This is the ‘Good News’ of the Gospel. But you have to know it first before you can tell it! Get into your Bible and Learn The Word. Become active in a good Word preaching church. Remember this, that everything you do and say, God is in you, with you and knows what you are doing. Answer the Call!

MY PRAYER…
Holy Father, may the presence of Jesus within me stir me and mold me into Your image and likeness. May Your presence cause me to do Your work today. May Your abiding grace, through the presence of Your gracious Son, call me to Your character and Your will, implanting in my spirit Your will and Your love. Thank You Jesus, for molding and shaping me and consecrating me unto Your work by the power of Your Holy Spirit that fills me daily. Thank You for making my heart like our Father’s. Not my will, but Yours be done. In Jesus’ name.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Sunday, May 22, 2016

Have you received what Jesus did for you on the Cross?

Surely he hath borne our grief, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:4-5 King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Isaiah clearly prophesied the beating, the suffering, and the crucifixion of Jesus for our sins. But he also spoke that Jesus had already borne (past tense, carried away) our grief (sickness and disease properly translated from the Hebrew). If He has already borne (“past tense”) our grief and sorrows then why would we want to bear them again ourselves or ask Him to do it again? If someone took my punishment for me I am surely not going to willingly go and ask for it to be laid on me anyway. Jesus has given (“past tense”) us our healing and health, having taken (“past tense”) our sickness and diseases upon Himself and carried them away at the cross. Receive it, it’s yours, He gave it to you. Stop asking Him to come down, get back on the Cross and heal you again (Oh, God please heal me, if it’s your will! – Stupid prayer!, it is His will and He has ALREADY DONE IT!). God has already healed you – past tense, just receive what is already yours! But you can only do so by Faith in Him and what He has done through His death, burial, and resurrection, that is, IF YOU KNOW HIS WORD! You’ve got to look not just at the Cross, but beyond the Cross to His Resurrection! If you leave Jesus on the Cross, then you miss out on the power given by the Holy Spirit in His Resurrection.

MY PRAYER…
Father God, may I live today fully aware of the price You paid for my life, my prosperity, my deliverance, my health, and my healing. May my words, thoughts and actions be totally in line with Your Word and may I speak that which You have already spoken over me. Lord help me to realize that You have already paid the price for me. The bill’s been paid in full nothing is still owed! I didn’t deserve it, but You paid the price for me anyway because You love me. Father, thank You for Your Son Jesus and His awesome cleansing Blood, Your precious gift to me. Through Him that loves me, my Lord Jesus, I pray.
Amen
