TODAY’S MANNA for Thursday, Nov 30, 2017

God will not forget what you have done in His name

For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Hebrews 6:10 New King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
So much assurance in such a short verse! God is not unjust — that is definitely an understatement. If He produced the redeeming, atoning sacrifice for our sins, while we were yet sinners, what will He deny us if we seek diligently after Him now as His Children? He will not forget our work and our love — an eternal record of the ministering unto Him and for Him that we have done! When we help our brothers and sisters in Christ, we bless Him! When we minister to those that don’t know Him, we do His will and His work. We are all HIS people!

MY PRAYER…
Most Holy Father God, I give You praise and glory and thanks giving forever. Father I thank You for Your covenant promises made to us through Your Son Jesus. I know that You are not a man that should lie and that what You have promised in Your Word must be true. Father, You are so gracious. Words cannot express my joy at hearing such a simple and profound statement describing Your virtues. I am so glad I am now Your child. That You have given me all things that pertain unto life and Godliness. In Jesus mighty name, I give You praise and glory forever.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017

Do you participate in God’s Divine nature?

He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
2 Peter 1:4 New International Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
God made us to be like Him in character and holiness. Did you get the meaning of the verse? Do you understand what it means to participate in the Divine Nature? Is there sickness and disease in God or Heaven? Is God poor? We are called to participate in the divine nature and we are assured that we will be made ready when Jesus comes again. His promise is sure if we will obey and keep His Word. But, the choice is ours. We can choose to be partakers of the promises of God and share in the inheritance of the children of God and His Divine Nature while we are still here on Earth (Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Matt 6:10) or we can partake of the world and the curses found there. We can NOT do and have both, we must choose! The choice is ours, but the promises come with a stipulation. We must choose to harken to the voice of the Lord our God and obey His commandments (See Matt 22:35-40 for what these commandments are). Will you partake? His will is this: “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” (Deu 30:19 KJV)

MY PRAYER…
Almighty God, my Everlasting Fortress, my Shield and my Buckler, I thank You for giving me Your great promises. I long to know You more fully and be able to see You face to face someday. Thank You for protecting me and my heart from corruption. Thank You for sending Your Son to be my shield and my strength. Thank you for sending Your Holy Spirit to be my Helper and my Counselor. Lord, I fully intend to walk in Your promises, to share in my inheritance, and to partake of Your divine nature here on this earth, just as Your Word says. In His mighty and precious name, Jesus, I pray. Thank You Lord.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Tuesday Nov. 28, 2017

Are all your needs met today? If not, why not?

Ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss. – James 4:2-3 KJV

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
According to the Word of God, it’s either because you’re not praying about them at all or because when you do pray, you’re praying wrong. What does it mean to pray wrong? In many cases it simply means to pray without expecting results (not having faith for what you are praying for.) Many believers do that, you know. They use prayer as a kind of spiritual wishbone. They just play around with it. This probably won’t do much good, they think, but who knows? It won’t hurt to give it a try. If that’s been your attitude, then change it! Start getting serious about prayer. Stop praying just because it’s proper. Stop praying just because you always pray at this point in the church service. And start praying to get results. Start praying in the Name of Jesus, according to the Word of God, and expect to receive what you ask for every single time. Isn’t that a little presumptuous you say? No, it is what God expects from us, and it is bold, and you have a scriptural right to be bold. According to the Word of God, you have a standing invitation from your heavenly Father to “come boldly unto the throne of grace, that [you] may obtain” (Hebrews 4:16). That word obtain is a word of certainty. The dictionary says it means “to get possession of.” So pray, expecting to get possession of what you need, not just once in a while, but every time! When prayers do go unanswered, don’t just wander away saying, “I guess you never know what God’s going to do.” Tackle the problem with both hands! First, do you know the Will of God concerning the matter, if not you are NOT studying His Word enough. Second, are you tithing? If not you are in disobedience to God’s Word. Go to God in prayer and in the Word and find out where you missed it and get the problem corrected. When you go to God in accurate, Word of God-based, Spirit-inspired prayer, you do know what He’s going to do. He’s going to answer you. He’s going to meet your need exactly as you asked Him. Start expecting Him to do it today.

MY PRAYER…
Almighty and awesome God, do in our day what You did in days past. You said in your Word that You change not, that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. You gave us faith to believe and then You are amazed at the smallness of our faith. Give us vision to see Your plan, to have greater Faith, and to do greater things. We ask this, not for ourselves or our experience, but for a sign to Your people so that the harvest will be large and that Your glory will be great and for the salvation of the world. In Jesus’ name.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Monday, Nov. 27, 2017

To Tithe or not To Tithe, that is NOT a question!

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, (Your Local Church, the place you should be attending)
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the LORD of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven (one translation says floodgates of heaven)
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.
“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,
So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,
Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”
Says the LORD of hosts;

Malachi 3:10-11 New King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
To Tithe or not To Tithe, that is NOT a question. The scripture is very clear about what we are to do. And don’t use the excuse “That’s Old Testament, it doesn’t apply today.” Wrong answer – God never changes! The New Testament is full of tithing examples also.
Tithing, you mean we’re really supposed to do that? No, We GET to do that, we have a choice. God won’t make you do anything you don’t want to do. But, if you’re not tithing you are NOT doing God’s Word, if you are not doing God’s Word you can NOT expect to get anything from Him. And if you are not tithing God said: “You are cursed with a curse!” Tithing should always be done with a willing heart and a cheerful heart, not because you have to. What is a tithe you ask? It is a tenth or 10% of your first fruits. In other words to make it easy for, when you get your check the first thing you should do is put aside your tithe. It’s easy take the check amount, let’s say it is $1,534.20 your tithe is 10% of that. Just pick up the decimal point and move it one place to the left, $153.42 that’s your tithe and that is supposed to come out first for God before you do anything else with the money, it is His. God even says to test or prove (the only place in the Bible where God says this) Him by bringing your tithes into His storehouse, your local church where you are a member and are pastored, and see if He won’t open the windows of heaven and pour out more blessings than you can contain. You are a member of a local church somewhere right? That’s in His word also! The Hebrew word translated here as windows (‘arubbah) could also have been translated as a sluice gate (an opening for water or better yet a dam). He wants to flood you with blessings…will you let Him? And that’s not all, He says He’ll rebuke the devourer for our sakes and all we do will prosper. Is the devourer eating up your income? You have a choice, Life or death, Blessings or curse…Tithe or not to tithe. God even helps with the choice, in Deuteronomy 30 verse 19, He tells us to choose life!
I chose the Blessings!

MY PRAYER…
Father, help us to understand your plan. Help us to see how the Kingdom of God works. Open our spiritual eyes and show us Your ways. Lord help us to obey Your Word, help us to reap the blessings You have promised for obedience. Help us to reap the blessings and prosperity You have commanded us to have.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017

Christ is not divided and no one but Christ was crucified for you!

I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.
1 Corinthians 1:10 New International Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Paul was appealing to the church at Corinth to be of one mind. To care for one another as though they were one body, because they were. For churches (people are the churches not the buildings) to get along, often times their leaders must remind them about the unity of the spirit. Paul reminded them that Christ was not divided and that no one but Christ was crucified for them. Paul goes on in the following chapters to explain to them how although you may have come to know Christ through one or the other of the disciples like himself, that the foundation for your relationship should always be Jesus Christ and Him crucified for you. Not Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, nor Baptist, or Catholic, or Protestant, or Nazarene, or some other denomination, or some great white spirit, or indian spirit, but only Jesus Christ and Him crucified for you! When we get to Heaven there won’t be any denominations people, only the saints who gave their life to Jesus while still on Earth. Oh and by the way, the Bible says we are ALL saints once we make Jesus the Lord of our lives! We do not have to be made saints by the pope! Not only Saints, but Kings and Priests unto God also!

MY PRAYER…
Lord Jesus, You have presented so many of my prayers to our Father, but today, I want to thank You for loving me so. I promise that I will do all I can, to the glory of our Father, to live at peace and to serve not only those who belong to You, but those to whom You are also calling. Father I pledge to serve Your Body (Your Church) as if it were my own, because it is. In Your Holy Name I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Saturday Nov. 25, 2017

Is God at work in you?

He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 1:6 New International Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
God made the world in 6 days using only His Word. Remember the Earth was void and without form in the beginning. Now He sustains it with the power of His Word. But in each of us, He is still at work and will continue to work in and through us to His glory until Christ comes back to take us home. Only then will we be fully complete in Him. But, this will only happen if we have made Jesus our Lord. Notice I did NOT say Savior, but Lord. Jesus must be your Lord before He can ever be your Savior! A Lord has control over you and your life. Jesus must be allowed to be this before He can be your Savior!

MY PRAYER…
Thank you Father, for being at work in my life. I confess that at times You seem distant, but looking back over the crucial moments where things were held in the balance in my life, I can see Your fingerprints, Your footprints, and Your grace leading me to where I am today. Please make Your presence more powerfully known in my life as I seek Your will and to live to Your glory. Through Jesus I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Friday, Nov. 24, 2017

Only Godly people will have an inheritance in the Kingdom of God!

But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Ephesians 5:3-5 New King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Isn’t it fitting that God warns us through Paul right after saying we are to be imitators of Him, about what we should not be or should not do. He is very specific about un-Godly actions such sexual lusts, evil doing, homosexuality and fornication, or the worship of idols etc. He goes on to tell us that if we are or if we do these things that we will have no inheritance in His kingdom. In other words God will NOT acknowledge us as sons or daughters of Him. God will NOT allow His children to act like the world around them. God will not honor religious fanatics either, He was Not pleased with the Sadducees and Pharisees of Paul’s time. God wants His Children to honor Him and Jesus and to be Christ-like in nature. This is a pretty stern warning if you ask me. Have no other God’s (Idols/Icons/Statues/Prized Possessions, coarse or worldly friends) before me. Oh, and did you notice that God called all of His children (believers) saints!

MY PRAYER…
Lord help me to renew my mind and to fill my heart with Your Words of wisdom to me. Help me to understand the true meaning of Your Word, Your Covenant, and Your Promises. Help me Lord to know how to not allow anything to separate me from Your Love, Your grace, and Your mercy towards Your children. Lord give the me power and the strength to change my ways from this day forward.
In Jesus mighty name, I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Thursday Nov. 23, 2017

Did you not know that He sees and hears all, even your thoughts!

“Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord.
Jeremiah 23:24 New International Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
There is no hiding from God. Remember, there is no place that you can hide that God doesn’t see you. There is no place you can run to that God isn’t already there. There is nothing that you can say to anyone in private that God doesn’t hear you speak. There is nothing that you can think but what He knows your very thoughts. He is everywhere at all times, He is omnipresent. Ask yourself this; “Would I want God to see me do this, or know where I am going, or to hear what I am going to say? Because He will see, hear, and know! Those who think evil, those who do evil, those who are immoral and unjust, those who practice witchcraft or homosexuality He will judge accordingly and they will spend eternity in the lake of fire with the evil one. But for those who willingly and joyously seek Him and obey His commands, there is comfort, power, peace, prosperity, love and so much more in His presence. If God is with you, who can be against you?

MY PRAYER…
Most High God of the Mountains, the seas, the plains, and the skies, You are my source of strength as I seek Your presence. I acknowledge Your presence in all I do and everywhere I go. Please, continue to use me to bless others in Your name. Continue to remind me that You are always present in everything I do or say. Father, help us to understand Your ways. In the name of Your Holy Child, Jesus, I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017

Are you the Righteousness of God?

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Cor. 5:20-21 New King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
If God has gone to such great lengths to reconcile us to Himself and adopt us into His family, how can we refuse to be His ambassadors? We must not! How can we refuse His Righteousness ? We must not! We must understand that because of what Jesus did for us we are now the Righteousness of God through Christ! We must accept the full gift of adoption that has been set before us, not only that, but we must let the rest of the world know what He has done for us and for them. We must know and understand what was done for us by and through Jesus and not only for us, but for all of mankind if they will only receive it. But, they must know that it is there available to them to receive. That’s where we become Ambassadors for God, we are to tell them the ‘Good News’ about Jesus and what He has done already for them. Nothing you could ever do would make you righteous before God. It took Jesus, the Son of the Living God, to be our righteousness. That’s right, without Him we are nothing! We are what we are because of Jesus. Dare to boldly declare what the scriptures say you are! Kings and priests, a holy nation, as well as His ambassadors.

MY PRAYER…
O Gracious God, I know my sin has broken Your heart and offended Your holiness. Words, therefore, cannot communicate my thankfulness to You. You were hurt by my sin and yet You provided a sacrifice to redeem me from it and reconcile me to You. Thank You, Father, for making me righteous through the blood of Your Son. Not through the blood of animals, but Your Precious Son’s Blood. As I consecrate myself unto You, I know that You are at work in me, sanctifying me, setting me apart for Your use. May people see in me a reflection of Your holiness, Your righteousness, justice, love, and mercy. Through Jesus, who sacrificed Himself for my sins, that I may be the righteousness of God in Him, I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Tuesday, Nov 21, 2017

Where are your spiritual eyes fixed?

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2 King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S MANNA:
Have you ever heard the statement: “You drive where you look!”? My wife is always saying it to me! It is true though, that whatever you fix your attention on is going to be the direction in which you go, either in the natural or in the spiritual. That’s true of all of us. We live and act like where we look, meaning where we spend our time watching, looking, and listening is going to affect the way we live. That’s why it’s important to fix our eyes on Jesus, not the six o’clock news! I don’t mean you can’t watch the news, only don’t become fixated on it. Forget or at least put aside this world and fix ourselves on Jesus. Who He is, what He has done for us, who we are in Him, what He means to us, and where He is taking us.
Well, if you listened to your spiritual inner Godly self then tomorrow we should have a new Godly leader for this country. If not, don’t blame someone else.
Remember, if you are born again, you are seated with Jesus at the right hand of the Throne of God! I didn’t say that, the Bible did.

MY PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Almighty Father God, without Your grace and the gift of Your salvation, through Jesus, I could not approach You with confidence and truthfully I would not be able to. Thank You for sending Jesus to be my substitute, to take and bear the punishment I was due! Thank You for His life, His death, His burial, His resurrection, His exaltation and His intercession at Your right hand for me. I pledge this day to keep my eyes on Him! I pledge to live by Faith, not by what I see in this world. Father, I ask You by the power of Your Holy Spirit to enable me to keep my eyes and my heart fixed on Jesus.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
Amen
