TODAY’S MANNA Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018

Do you know that you are seated in Heavenly places with Jesus?

If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Colossians 3:1-3 New King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Scripture says that if you believe in Jesus and have been baptized into His death that you are also raised up with Him and made to sit in heavenly places with Him (Eph 2:6). This is known as a positional truth because it is what God says about us. We need to see ourselves as God does in His positional truths. We should seek those things that are of heaven, those things which will last with us through all eternity. We should lay up treasures for ourselves in heaven, where they can not be destroyed or taken by thieves. We need to get our eyes off of ourselves and the things of this world, the things that distract us from heavenly things, and get them unto Jesus…the Author and the Finisher of our faith. Only He can change our circumstances.

MY PRAYER…
Eternal Father, who was before creation and who is the Great “I AM”, help me to sow seeds in my life that will bear eternal fruit. Help me to see where You have raised me to be seated. Let Your Spirit guide and teach me to sow to the spirit and to avoid those things that are carnal and lead to death and destruction. Help me to keep my eyes on Jesus, my Author and my Finisher for I know that I can not accomplish anything on my own, but I need You and Your Holy Spirit to help and to guide me every step of the way. So Father, I ask You to fill me afresh each day with Your precious Holy Spirit, that indeed I may be endued with power from on High to accomplish that which I can not myself do for Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018

Did you know, we are called to participate in the divine nature of God by God Himself?

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2 Peter 1:4 King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
God made us in His Image, His Character and His Holiness, because He wanted us to be as much like Him as we could be. We were made not just to look like God, but also have His nature and character. We are called to participate in the divine nature of God Himself according to His Word. He has promised that if we have died with Christ in baptism, that we have then been seated in heavenly places with Christ. That we have then been made more than conquerors. We are assured that we will escape the corruption and destruction destined for the world. His promises are sure, they are eternal, and His Word will never change. He does not lie nor change His mind, if we will hearken unto His Word and follow it wholeheartedly we shall reap His precious promises!

MY PRAYER…
Almighty God, my Everlasting Fortress, thank You for giving me Your great and precious promises. Help me Lord to understand them and to walk them out in my life. Lord, I long to know You more fully and to be able to see Your face today, just as I believe I will one day in heaven. Thank You for giving me the means to protect myself and my heart from this world’s corruption. Lord, help me through Your Holy Spirit to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh. In all love and appreciation of what You have given me, I pray, in the name of Jesus.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Monday Jan. 29, 2018

God’s promises continue whether you receive them or not.

Promises from God:
God promises us His spiritual blessings of forgiveness.
I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. (Psalms 32:5 NKJV)

As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalms 103:12 NKJV) Think about this one for awhile – If you go north over the pole eventually you will be going south, but if you go east around the equator you never go west! You are always traveling east. God knew what He was saying when He made this statement ‘as far as the east is from the west’ they never meet!

I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins. (Isaiah 43:25 NKJV)

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 NKJV)

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. (Ephesians 1:7 NKJV)

Thoughts
Learn what God’s Promises are and then claim them as yours! He gave them to you.

Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Sunday Jan. 28, 2018

Have you experienced God’s Promises

Promises from God:
God promises us His spiritual blessings of freedom.
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32 NKJV)
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. (John 8:36 NKJV)

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1-2 NKJV) I (you) have been freed from that awful curse of the Law of Sin and Death that every single human being has inherited from the first Adam after he sinned in the Garden of Eden! I don’t care who your parents are, whether they were Christian or not, or how good you think you have been. The Bible says ‘All have sinned and fall short of the glory’ period. (Romans 3:23)

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (2 Corinthians 3:17 NKJV)

But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. (Romans 6:22 NKJV)

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S MANNA…

Do you have His freedom in your life? Or are you still struggling with the worldly ways. Is lust and greed the creed you live by? Do you struggle with the day to day business of life always trying to be better than the Jones’ next door? The answer to ALL your problems is an easy one!

Humble yourself before God, ask His forgiveness, and then be obedient to His Word. God knows your every thought and God knows your needs. His Word says He will provide for your every need. IT doesn’t say your every want though.

My Prayer… God I thank you for your provision in my life. I thank you that you know my every need just as you know the numbers of the hairs on my head. Lord I thank you that as I obey your word you meet my every need day to day. In Jesus Name Lord I give you praise and Glory forever. Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Saturday Jan. 27, 2018

Imitation, the most sincere form of flattery.

Be imitators of God as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Ephesians 5:1-2 New International Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery known to mankind. We are to sincerely flatter God by being as much like Him as we can be. But imitation may also be the most costly form of flattery as well. You see, love for God is never something that occurs just in our minds or our hearts. Love is something we do for another, it is an action. John said in 1 John 4 that we must love in both our deeds and our words. Love means to give ourselves up, what we want, our rights, our desires, to honor God and serve others. To lay down our lives if need be, even as far as to death for another. This is a kind of love that can change the world, or a marriage, or a family, or the lost. It is known as ‘AGAPE’ Love, it’s unconditional love, it’s the God kind of love. It is not a physical, sexual based love. We need to live, walk, and talk the God kind of Love for others, just as He loves us.

MY PRAYER…
Abba Father, I will never fully understand how You could love me so much that You would allow Your only begotten Son to die for me as my sacrifice. To pay the price for my sin. Please help me to love others sacrificially as Christ loves me. I know the power to do this is not within me or of myself, so please pour Your love into my heart, that I may share that love with others. Father, let Your Holy Spirit continually fill me and overflow me with Your love. Through Jesus, my Lord, my brother and my saviour, I pray.
Amen

Justification before God is easy!

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Romans 3:24 King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
It is so easy to receive justification before God that many refuse to accept it because they don’t believe it can be that easy. Instead they want to try to work out their justification through works of the flesh or penance to a priest. They want to clean up their life themselves, first before coming to God. Do they really think they have the power on their own to do that? If they did, then why are they in such a mess now, why do they even need God then! They think they have to earn their way into the Kingdom of God. It can’t be done that way! It can’t be earned! You must just accept that by grace through faith you become a child of God, a ‘Saint’ in the Kingdom of God (without works). Now I didn’t say you become a “Saint” by becoming a child of God, the Word of God said that! You do not have to be ‘canonized’ by the Pope to a saint in the Kingdom of God! The Word of God clearly says that all we need to do is freely receive His grace. “Freely” What do you do when someone gives you something free? You take it, say thank you, and are blessed! Just back up 4 verses in Romans 3 and read what it says leading up to this verse.

(Romans 3:20-22) “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh (mankind) be justified in His sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:” Notice it says, “..unto all and upon all them that believe…” That includes everyone out there in this world so that you can believe and come to God. He so loved the world! Not just Christians.

MY PRAYER…
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace. Thank You for the seed of faith that allows me to believe Your Word. Father, I ask in the name of Jesus that you would give unto to those who read this prayer the Spirit of wisdom and revelation into the knowledge of Him: That the eyes of their understanding be enlightened; that they may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints (those who believe) is, that they may understand the simplicity of Your grace unto those who believe. That they may “Freely” receive justification through Jesus our Lord.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Thursday Jan. 25, 2018

If You Will Only Believe!

Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
Galatians 3:6-9 King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Notice that as Abraham believed God it was accounted to him for righteousness. Not by anything else that he did or by his works, or by keeping the law, only by his ‘faith’, his belief, in what God had said to him. Notice that God promised in His Word to justify even the heathen (the unsaved worldly people) through that same faith that brought Abraham his righteousness. The just shall live by faith! When you have been justified by God you have become His righteousness through Jesus! All we have to do is believe that God is and that He is a re-warder of those that diligently seek after Him, make Jesus our Lord and He will (actually HE has already) justify us through the Blood of Jesus.

MY PRAYER…
Precious Father, I know that I was not worthy for You to justify. But because You loved us so much You made a way where by we could be justified. You sent Jesus to the Cross for us. On the Cross the penalty was paid. In the Grave the victory was won. At Your right Hand the reign begun. And Jesus now and forever sits at Your hand making intercession for those that will call on Him in faith. I pray Father, that everyone reading this will get a revelation of Jesus Christ and Him crucified for them. In Jesus name.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018

Righteousness was for us also!

And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
Romans 4:22-24 King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSES…
Paul is talking here about Abraham, the father of faith. Because Abraham believed that what God promised him He was fully able to do (faith in God), God accounted his faith unto him for righteousness. But the Word of God goes on to say that not only was righteousness accounted unto Abraham for his faith but also to those of us who believe on Him who raised Jesus from the dead. It’s so simple people. All we have to do to be righteous (to be Just) in the sight of God is believe in Jesus and God who raised Him from the dead. To come to Him in Faith, we don’t have to do anything else to obtain righteousness, our righteousness is from and through Christ Jesus. We don’t have to get our act together or clean up our lives first, we can’t without His help anyway. Jesus has washed us with His Blood and made us clean (righteous) before God. It is soooo easy, yet religion has made it so hard to grasp. All we have to do is Believe – no proof needed!

MY PRAYER…
Precious Father, thank You for making it soooo easy for me! So easy that many will not believe it is so easy. Father, thank You for providing for my righteousness through Your Son and my Lord Jesus. Thanks Abba Daddy for giving me that which I was not worthy to receive. That which I could in no way earn You lovingly gave to me as a free gift, if only I would receive it. Father, I exercise my faith and I accept that which I was not worthy to have, but that which You have freely given. Thank You Lord for sending me Jesus to show me the way, the only way! In Jesus’ name I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Tuesday Jan 23, 2018

God promises us a new life!

Promises from God
God promises us spiritual blessings and a new life.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV (Condition – You must be in Christ – He must be your Lord!)

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10 KJV (Say this: “Good God – Bad Devil!”)

Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4 KJV (The Life of Christ that is now in us, if we are born again through Christ)

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26 KJV (God’s two-fold promise of Jesus and the Holy Spirit)

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S MANNA…
Notice that in the first promise stated here God gave us a qualifier for receiving. You MUST be in Christ! You MUST have made Him your Lord and thus your savior and asked Him into your heart AND have daily fellowship with Him. {Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.}(John 14:6) I don’t care what anyone else might tell you, folks there just isn’t any other way to the Father God and Heaven except through Jesus period!

MY PRAYER…
Father I thank You that You are a loving Father. That You have always loved us even before we were. I thank You Lord for providing us with the opportunity to receive of Your Gracious promises through Jesus. Thank You Lord for making the way to You through Jesus, the ‘ONLY’ way. Thank You Lord for being such an awesome Father. In Jesus Name, I thank You.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Monday Jan 22, 2018

Today’s Medicine

God’s Promises of the Holy Spirit (only some of them)

God promises us His spiritual blessings through and by the Holy Spirit.

For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring; (Isaiah 44:3 NKJV)

I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. (Ezekiel 36:26 NKJV)

“And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” (Joel 2:28-29 NKJV)

And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. (John 14:16-17 NKJV)

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. (Acts 1:8 NKJV)

And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” (Galatians 4:6)

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
God is ready to pour out His Spirit on His chosen people. We as Christians are His chosen people, a Holy Priesthood. Are we ready to receive His Spiritual Blessings? He says He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. Wow, the power of God’s Spirit at work in His people! He says we shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon us; Are you receiving from His Spirit regularly?

MY PRAYER…
Holy Father, I thank You that You make a way where there seems to be no way. That You provide your Holy Spirit and Power for Your children’s every need. Thank You Lord for Your Spirit, that we may receive freely of your Spirit. Thank you Jesus, for You have provided us that Spirit of and through Yourself. You said, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” Thank You Father for Your Holy Spirit and the provisions provided through Jesus. In Jesus name I pray.

Amen
