THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Do you ever ask God to search you?
God is omnipotent, omnipresent, and He is all knowing. He knows the condition of our hearts even better than we do. God knows us inside and out. We can’t pretend we are something we are not with Him. We can’t hide behind a facade and pretend to be something else, He knows us! He sees all we do and hears all we say. He even knows our thoughts before we speak them. This should liberate us to be able to have real intimacy with Him, but instead most of us run from such a close relationship with God. If our desire, however, is to become more like Him, the only way to be transformed into His likeness is by inviting Him in and allowing “Him to look at our heart, our motivations, and our desires, all of it, not just some. Let Him in and then let Him make the changes in us that He desires to make. He desires our close , intimate, fellowship most of all. He wants to renew your heart, mind and soul to a point where you think, feel, and desire the things He does. Where our desires become His desires and our thoughts become His thoughts.

MY PRAYER…
Father, I know You are the one who “searches hearts and minds” yet because of the grace You demonstrated in Jesus, I am confident that You love me. My heart is sorry for the sin I have committed, and I truly am ready to change. But I need Your help and Your power working in me to affect that change. I of myself can do nothing. I am really trying to serve You in honor and purity. Please fill me afresh today with Your Holy Spirit to enable me to become more like Christ. Father, search my heart and purge that which is not of You. In the name of Your Holy Son, Jesus I pray.

Living By Faith!

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Hebrews 10:38 King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Do you live by faith?
God says the just shall live by faith in Him!
God tells us in His Word that the just shall live by faith in Him, but who are the just? Who is God talking about here?
According to the Greek word translated here as ‘just’, dikaios, dik’-ah-yos; from G1349; it means: equitable (in character or act); by implication: innocent, holy –just, meet, right (-eous)], so it appears to me that the just are those whom Jesus has cleansed with His Blood. Those who believe that Jesus died for THEM on the Cross that they might become the righteousness of God in Him. Those who have made Jesus the Lord of their lives! These are the ‘Just’ before God.
That means Jesus leads and guides their everyday lives, not just their Sunday Life!
Do you believe it? If you do, then are you living like you believe it? Remember the opposite of faith is fear.
Notice what the scripture above says if we draw back from our faith. If we draw back from faith, God has no pleasure in us because (Hebrews 10:39) when we draw back we draw into perdition [ruin or loss (phys., spiritual or
eternal):–damnable (-nation), destruction, we die, perish, pernicious ways, or
waste away.] So how do the ‘just’ live by faith? The ‘just’ (the Righteous) shall live by faith by calling those things that be not as though they were, just as God does. By believing what God says in His Word even when the natural circumstances are saying something else. Romans 4:17 states “…even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” ’FAITH’ If God uses faith and we are to be imitators of Him, then why aren’t we using faith also?

MY PRAYER…
Lord God Almighty, forgive my acts of little faith and foolishness. By Your Holy Spirit, help me to cause my faith to grow. Help me to know in my spirit that I am the just, I am the righteousness of You through Jesus. Help me to have the boldness to step out of the boat with You and put my trust in all Your ways and Your Word. Give me courage to fight the good fight of faith and win the race. Through Your Holy Son, and My Lord, Jesus, I pray.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Is God’s Power At Work In You?
Of all the names for God in the Bible, this is my favorite: El Shaddai, Him who is able to do immeasurably more, The God of more than enough! The Great ‘I Am’, I am anything and everything that you need! Our God today is the same God who parted the Red Sea for Moses and then fed 5,000 men (not to mention the women and children who were there with their men) on a green hillside with only a couple of sardine sandwiches and a loaf of bread. And then provided 12 baskets of left-overs! I have personally experienced His provision of multiplication of food, it wasn’t of the magnitude above, but it was still awesome to behold. He longs to do more than we can ask and imagine, but most of us haven’t really given Him much of a challenge or much of a chance. We try to do it all ourselves. Dream big dreams for God. Then step aside and let Him go to work for you and just hang on! Our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Heb 13:8). What He did before He will do again and again! Is His Power at work in you?

MY PRAYER…
Almighty and awesome God, do in our day what You did in days past. You said in your Word that You change not, that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. You gave us faith to believe and then You are amazed at the smallness of our faith. Give us vision to see Your plan, to have greater Faith, and to do greater things. We ask this, not for ourselves or our experience, but for a sign to Your people so that the harvest will be large and that Your glory will be great and for the salvation of the world. In Jesus’ name.

Know who you are in Christ

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16 King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
You must know who you are in Christ, do you?

God said confess Your faults one to another. He said confess your faults to who? Not a man in confessional booth, hiding behind a screen. I can’t find that anywhere in any Bible translation I have read. That’s right, but I can find that we are to confess our faults one to another and to pray for one another that we may be healed. How do we get healed? Praying one for another! Doesn’t say anything about saying ‘hail Marys’ or counting beads. That’s religious church doctrine strait from the Pharisees and Sadducees! Then He goes on to say that the effectual fervent prayer by a man that is in right standing with Him accomplishes much. How is a man in right standing before God? Answer: He is one who has given his life over to Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior, one who is cleansed by the Blood of Jesus, that is a man in right standing before God.
The word translated from the Greek here as ‘effectual’ means : to be active, efficient, be mighty in, shew forth self, work (effectually in). To be “on fire-white hot!”
We must renew our way of thinking, You say, “Well if I were righteous I would do that!” Do you know who you are in Christ? Are you His child? Are you bon again? Have you made Jesus your Lord and Savior? “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” Gal 3:26 Are you a born again believer who has made Jesus Christ your Lord? Then you are righteous before God! (2 Cor 5:21 KJV) “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.”
Because of what Jesus has done for us on the Cross, we are righteous. I didn’t say that, the Word of God did!

MY PRAYER…
Father, I thank You for Your Word. I thank You that You have set forth Your will for us in Your Word. Father, I thank You that You have told us we should pray for one another. That You have actually given us authority in Your Word to pray for one another. I thank You Lord that I know my prayers are heard by You and that they accomplish much because I am righteous in Your eyes. Jesus has made me so with His precious Blood. Help me Lord to keep my heart pure and to do Your bidding Lord. In Jesus’ Holy name and by the power of His precious Blood I pray.

Strengthened By the Angels of God

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSES…
Have you been strengthened by the angels of God?
Daniel was in such a weakened state that he was not even able to speak when the Angel of the Lord first appeared. But because he was humble and had called on God, He sent His angel to strengthen Daniel and renew him. Do you need God’s angels to strengthen and renew you? All we have to do is call on them, their job is to minister (serve) unto us, the heirs to salvation. (“Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” Heb 1:14). All we have to do is Believe – no other proof needed!

MY PRAYER…
Precious Father, thank You for giving your angels charge over me. Thank you Lord for instructing them to harken unto your spoken Word and to be ministers (servants) un to those of us who are heirs to your Kingdom through our faith and believe in ?Jesus, Your Son. Thanks Abba Daddy for giving me that which I was not worthy to receive. That which I could in no way earn You lovingly gave to me as a free gift, if only I would receive it. Father, I exercise my faith and I accept that which I was not worthy to have, but that which You have freely given. Thank You Lord for sending me Jesus to show me the way, the only way! In Jesus’ name I pray.

Have the angels of God been sent to you?
Daniel was in great distress and being held prisoner by the king and he had been drained of all his strength and was short of breath even. But, because he had set his heart on God and humbled himself to the point of asking God for help, God sent His angel to strengthen him. Not only did God send an angel, He sent Michael, the Archangel, one of the greatest of all the angels. Do you need God’s angels at work for you? YES! All we have to do is Believe and ask, then command them – God’s Word says that. No other proof needed!

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
What God’s Word Says About His Angels:
It’s time to set the record straight. Do you believe in Angels, because you’d better! Here’s God’s Word about His Angels. Angels are not kid stuff. They are not cute little fat babies (that we call cherubs) with long blonde hair and bows and arrows in their hands. And they are NOT those of family who have gone before us either. Our people (humans) who die before us do NOT become angels. Angels are NOT human in nature though they may at times take on human appearance to complete their tasks. Angels are different, separate spiritual beings created by God and are not human beings! They are separate spiritual beings created by God for His purposes and to do His work (“Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” Heb 1:14). Angels are big, they are strong, they are warriors. They are real, though spiritual in nature. They are powerful. And, if you are a believer, they should be a vital part of your life. God said they are ministers (that means servants) to those who inherit salvation, that’s all who have given their life to Jesus. God said His angels harken unto the Word spoken. Notice I capitalized “Word”, that’s because it must be God’s Word if they are to harken unto it, not ours unless it lines up with God’s! Read the account in Daniel chapter 10 about how the angels, even Michael, the Archangel, came to Daniel’s aid. If you’re a child of God, then you have a right to expect God’s angels to be at work for you. So, start expecting, start directing them, according to God’s Word. That’s right, I said “Directing the Angels of God!” Say, “Thank You, heavenly Father for giving Your angels charge over me to keep me in all my ways.” Once you’ve spoken that word of faith, stand fast. Don’t fear. Don’t waver. Just be patient and keep believing, and you will surely see the angels of heaven go to work on your behalf. I have numerous personal accounts I could give, if space would permit. My Angels sent from God surround me, my family, and all that belongs to me. They keep me in all my ways and no evil can befall me while they are on duty. Oh, Did I mention? They never sleep!

MY PRAYER…
Lord I thank You that You have given Your angels charge over me. I thank You that I can speak forth Your Word and the angels of heaven harken unto it to make it happen. Lord I thank You that when I am weak You are strong and Your angels will come and minister to me just as they did to Jesus in the wilderness. Lord, help me to understand the true meaning of Your Word, Your covenant, and Your promises. In Jesus mighty name, I pray.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Do you understand that Christ Died For You?
Having stood in recent years over the open graves of loving family members and dear friends, I know the appearance and feel of death’s finality on our human frailty. But I was reminded of Christ’s death for us. I was reminded that He died for me! His death for us not only included His burial, but also His resurrection unto eternal Life! He was raised from the grave and placed at the Father’s right hand in heaven by the Spirit of God. And then He promised that I (you and me) could have a place beside Him at the Father’s right hand!
Knowing that my family members and friends who have left this physical life and who were in Christ and He in them, I also know that He has raised them up to heavenly places with Himself just as He was raised up from the dead to sit at the right hand of the Father on the Throne. Death in this physical realm is not the end —it is but the beginning of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. I believe God raised Jesus from the dead and that He is the first fruits of those of us who believe in Him. That He is the first born of many brethren, and I have a number among those brethren! He is alive, not just in Spirit, but in glorified bodily form seated with the Father in Heaven, and so am I also! Remember, Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father forever making intercession for those of us who belong to Him. That’s something to confess for the new year that’s upon us.

MY PRAYER…
Almighty God, thank You for the gifts of Your grace, Your Mercy, Your Holy Spirit, forgiveness and life. Most of all, thanks for the gift of Your Son, Dad. Who brought redemption and eternal life to me through His Blood, shed for my salvation. While I have no great desire to die in the natural, I know I can look beyond physical death to You and Your victory in Jesus for me. Please continue to give me the courage and the strength through Your Holy Spirit to live every day for you. In the Glorious name of Jesus I pray.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Will You Stand up and declare who you are in Christ?
Living a life of faith takes courage. Most people don’t realize it, but it does! It takes courage to stand up in the face of sickness and declare that you’ve been healed by the stripes of Jesus. (I didn’t say declare you are not sick or that there is no sickness upon you, that’s lying.) I said: “declare that you’ve been healed by the stripes of Jesus!” It takes courage to believe for prosperity while you are putting your last dime in the offering plate and poverty is staring you in the face. Remember God is our source, not men, even if you are working a job, God is still your source. For God gives man the power to gain wealth (Deut. 8:18). There are going to be some days when you’d rather pull the covers up over your head and hide than take another faith stand against the devil. But don’t you dare, you can’t afford to. Staying in bed and shouting, “Oh God, Help Me!”, Does not constitute a faith walk or going to church and fellowshipping with Him like you are supposed to. Because the battle of faith isn’t fought once and then forgotten and it isn’t fought in the natural or from a bed. It is a spiritual battle, fought on a spiritual level. If you want to keep living in victory, you have to fight it again and again. But remember the battle is not with flesh and blood, but it is spiritual, and we know we have already won. “…but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” (Dan. 11:32)

MY PRAYER…
Father I pray that You open the eyes of my understanding and flood my heart with the hope of Your calling for me, that You reveal to me what is the glorious inheritance You have given to us saints and heirs to salvation. I thank You Lord that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind. That You have given us great and precious promises to base our faith upon and help us in our day to day battles with this world. Lord I thank You that You have made us victorious through Jesus! In His precious name, I thank You and Praise You.

A Serious Walk

“O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee…. I [will] remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.”

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
It is time to get serious about your walk with God.
If you’re going to live and walk in divine health, then there are going to be times when you’ll have to be downright extreme about your meditation in the Word of God. Times when you may be facing a sickness so severe that you need more than just a few moments in the Word and a quick prayer to receive your healing. Times when getting your healing will be the difference between life and death where doctors won’t be able to help you. But, I’ll tell you one thing, you don’t want to wait until that day happens and then try and put the Word to work! It won’t happen! You need to be meditating and speaking the Word of God concerning health & healing daily. Don’t wait until the Devil launches a serious attack against your body with something like the ‘c’ word, don’t mess around like that. Get serious about God’s Word. Put yourself under its constant care and it will take good care of you.
“My son, attend to my Words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes;
keep them in the midst of thine heart.
For they are life unto those that find them,
and health to all their flesh.” Proverbs 4:20-22

Do you believe that? Do you understand what God has said here? These are not just mere sayings people. These are the promises of God to His people! To those who are called by His Name!

MY PRAYER…
Great and Precious Father without comparison, You are truly worthy of my best praise and worship. I rejoice that You are who You are, I celebrate in what You have done, and long for what You are yet to do. Father, I thank You that Your Word is true and what You have said in it is true. I thank You that You have given us Your promise of healing and divine health according to Your Word. Lord help us to learn to appropriate that promise in our lives. You are magnificent, my Father and my God. Through Jesus, and His matchless love, I will praise you forever.
