TODAY’S MANNA for Thursday Nov. 10, 2016

Did you not know that He sees and hears all, even your thoughts!

“Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord.
Jeremiah 23:24 New International Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
There is no hiding from God. Remember, there is no place that you can hide that God doesn’t see you. There is no place you can run to that God isn’t already there. There is nothing that you can say to anyone in private that God doesn’t hear you speak. There is nothing that you can think but what He knows your very thoughts. He is everywhere at all times, He is omnipresent. Ask yourself this; “Would I want God to see me do this, or know where I am going, or to hear what I am going to say? Because He will see, hear, and know! Those who think evil, those who do evil, those who are immoral and unjust, those who practice witchcraft or homosexuality He will judge accordingly and they will spend eternity in the lake of fire with the evil one. But for those who willingly and joyously seek Him and obey His commands, there is comfort, power, peace, prosperity, love and so much more in His presence. If God is with you, who can be against you?

MY PRAYER…
Most High God of the Mountains, the seas, the plains, and the skies, You are my source of strength as I seek Your presence. I acknowledge Your presence in all I do and everywhere I go. Please, continue to use me to bless others in Your name. Continue to remind me that You are always present in everything I do or say. Father, help us to understand Your ways. In the name of Your Holy Child, Jesus, I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016

Are you the Righteousness of God?

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Cor. 5:20-21 New King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
If God has gone to such great lengths to reconcile us to Himself and adopt us into His family, how can we refuse to be His ambassadors? We must not! We must understand that because of what Jesus did for us we are now the Righteousness of God through Christ! We must accept the gift of adoption that has been set before us, not only that, but we must let the rest of the world know what He has done for us and for them. We must know and understand what was done for us by and through Jesus and not only for us, but for all of mankind if they will only receive it. But, they must know that it is there available to them to receive. That’s where we become Ambassadors for God, we are to tell them the ‘Good News’ about Jesus and what He has done already for them. Nothing you could ever do would make you righteous before God. It took Jesus, the Son of the Living God, to be our righteousness. That’s right, without Him we are nothing! We are what we are because of Jesus. Dare to boldly declare what the scriptures say you are! Kings and priests, a holy nation, as well as His ambassadors.

MY PRAYER…
O Gracious God, I know my sin has broken Your heart and offended Your holiness. Words, therefore, cannot communicate my thankfulness to You. You were hurt by my sin and yet You provided a sacrifice to redeem me from it and reconcile me to You. Thank You, Father, for making me righteous through the blood of Your Son. Not through the blood of animals, but Your Precious Son’s Blood. As I consecrate myself unto You, I know that You are at work in me, sanctifying me, setting me apart for Your use. May people see in me a reflection of Your holiness, Your righteousness, justice, love, and mercy. Through Jesus, who sacrificed Himself for my sins, that I may be the righteousness of God in Him, I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Tuesday, Nov 8, 2016

Where are your spiritual eyes fixed?

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2 King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S MANNA:
Have you ever heard the statement: “You drive where you look!”? My wife is always saying it to me! It is true though, that whatever you fix your attention on is going to be the direction in which you go, either in the natural or in the spiritual. That’s true of all of us. We live and act like where we look, meaning where we spend our time watching, looking, and listening is going to affect the way we live. That’s why it’s important to fix our eyes on Jesus, not the six o’clock news! I don’t mean you can’t watch the news, only don’t become fixated on it. Forget or at least put aside this world and fix ourselves on Jesus. Who He is, what He has done for us, who we are in Him, what He means to us, and where He is taking us.
Well, if you listened to your spiritual inner Godly self then tomorrow we should have a new Godly leader for this country. If not, don’t blame someone else.
Remember, if you are born again, you are seated with Jesus at the right hand of the Throne of God! I didn’t say that, the Bible did.

MY PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Almighty Father God, without Your grace and the gift of Your salvation, through Jesus, I could not approach You with confidence and truthfully I would not be able to. Thank You for sending Jesus to be my substitute, to take and bear the punishment I was due! Thank You for His life, His death, His burial, His resurrection, His exaltation and His intercession at Your right hand for me. I pledge this day to keep my eyes on Him! I pledge to live by Faith, not by what I see in this world. Father, I ask You by the power of Your Holy Spirit to enable me to keep my eyes and my heart fixed on Jesus.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Monday, Nov. 7, 2016

Did you know God has promised to answer our prayers?

Promises from God
God has promised to answer our prayers.

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Isaiah 65:24 KJV (If you are a son of God through faith in Jesus Christ)

Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Mark 11:24 KJV (If you are a son of God through faith in Jesus Christ)

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, He will give it you.
John 16:23 KJV (If you are a son of God through faith in Jesus Christ)

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
John 15:7 KJV (If you are a son of God through faith in Jesus Christ)

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Ephesians 3:20 KJV (If you are a son of God through faith in Jesus Christ)

“then hear from heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.”
2Chron. 6:35 NKJ

And finally a prayer for the nation of the U.S. today that all Christians should be praying daily:
“if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
2Chron. 7:14

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S MANNA…
God not only promises to hear the prayers of His people, but He promises to answer them. In fact He says He will hear them and answer them before we call! He even said that if we prayed and asked He would heal our land!! That means getting rid of all the corruption in D.C. Government! Pray people, Pray real hard. He only has a minor qualification for getting them answered, you must abide [to stay (in a given place, state,
relationship or expectancy), continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand,
tarry] in Him, and His words must abide in you. That means you must be fixed with your eyes, your mind, your heart, and your spirit on Jesus, the author and the finisher of your faith. You MUST have a continual daily fellowship with Jesus. And you must be full of God’s Word, NOT the world’s. There may be times when the answer is held up by the evil spirits present in this world, but that doesn’t mean God didn’t answer right away. It just means we need to call forth His ministering Angels to handle those evil spirits for us.
Dan 10:13 “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. This prince was a power of darkness – an evil spirit.

MY PRAYER…
Father I thank You that You not only hear my prayers but You answer them also. In fact You answer them before I even finish praying them. Lord I Thank You that You are a merciful and forgiving Father and that You love me. In Jesus Name.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Sunday Nov. 6, 2016

Are you being deceived? Do you know if you are?

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience (Those who are of the world, not of God). Therefore do not be partakers with them.
Ephesians 5:6-7 New King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
How many of you have had someone try to steal the Word from you or try to convince you that the Word wasn’t true or doesn’t work? Beware, they are thieves trying to kill, steal, and destroy you with their empty words. Beware of books and movies which go against the Word of God, even if they claim to be fiction, for example the Harry Potter series. They are there to deceive you, placed there by or through the devil or his advocates (anyone who will listen to him and do his bidding) slyly like a fox. Their sole purpose is to quietly eat away at your faith in God. They slowly but surely begin to wear you down if you pay heed to or give them place in your life. The devil comes only to to kill, steal, and destroy you. Remember God’s warning, because of these things the wrath of God comes on the sons of disobedience (those of the world not born again, who do not obey God’s Word) God sternly warns us to NOT be partakers with them. Either in the acts spoken of, or believing in what is said or portrayed. His wrath which will come upon them will also be upon you if you do! He loves His children, but He hates the sinful acts that people do. And while He loves His children He can NOT condone any of the sinful acts committed by them, they have NO place with Him.

MY PRAYER…
Faithful Father, thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for sending Your Word to teach and to train me in Your ways. Thank You Father, that You made a way for me where there was no way, a way to walk clear of the things of this world. Thank You that You have given me Jesus to be the Way the Truth, and the Life to me and to this sinful, corrupt, and dying world if they would receive Him. Father, help us to have spiritual ears to hear and spiritual eyes to see and the God given wisdom to discern when the thief tries to come and steal from us and deceive us.
In Jesus name.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016

Have you received the Helper?

If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
John 14:15-18 New King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Oh, how Jesus loves to do good things for us. For those who believe in Him. Notice that He was talking to believers and not the unsaved. He said He would send another Helper. A helper, the Spirit of Truth, the Comforter, The Holy Spirit. Notice He said you had to receive the Helper, The Holy Spirit! Jesus made sure we would not be alone. He had the Father send us back not just a good gift, but the best gift! A gift that the world, those who have not made Jesus their Lord, can not receive, know, or see. But we have Him, He dwells in us so that we are not alone (orphans). He is the promise that Jesus will return for us in that “Great Day”! Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed? Many have not. You must receive Him by Faith. He was Jesus’ promise to all who believe!

MY PRAYER…
Precious Lord Jesus, Thank You for sending us the Holy Spirit. Thank You for not leaving us alone, but instead giving us a Helper, a Comforter, a guide, and a Counselor. Thank You Lord for sending the Spirit of Truth to lead and to guide us until You return for us. Thank You Father that on the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit was given for all those who would believe and those who receive will be baptized in fire and with power.
In the name of Jesus, Lord I give You all glory and honor.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Friday, Nov. 4, 2016

Freedom, that precious, coveted condition in life.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:31-32 King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
There are few things in life more coveted than freedom. People have died for it through out history, are doing it today, and will continue to do so in the future. People pray for it. People strive for it. But true freedom comes from knowing the truth. Knowing the truth only comes by living in obedience to Jesus and the Word. By knowing, understanding, and living by the very Word of God. Truth is not something you merely think about or believe. Truth is something you do, something you live. Jesus’ teachings always end with the exclamation: Blessed are you who do these things! Jesus made it so simple and easy to understand, how can you not know what He meant. Only by doing what He told us to do will we ever know the truth that liberates us. You can hear about it, you can read about it, you can even see it, but until you do it for yourself and it gets into your very heart, you will not experience the truth that sets you free. That truth is the Word of God! Until you know Jesus Christ and Him crucified for you, you can not experience true truth!

MY PRAYER…
To the only true God be glory, honor, power, and praise. Father, I seek not only Your presence in my daily life, but also Your pleasure and Your will in the choices I make. Please continue to teach me more of Your truth as I pledge and strive to live everyday in obedience to Your Word and Your will. Father, help me to be a doer and not just a hearer. Let Your Holy Spirit fill me fresh each day with the power necessary to do the things You have called me to do. Through Jesus the living Word I pray.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Thursday Nov 3, 2016

You have been bought, your debt has been paid in full

And He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
Luke 22:19-20 King James Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE(s)…
Jesus paid the price for us with His body and His blood on the Cross. His body was broken for us that we might have health and live free from sickness and disease. His Blood was shed as an offering to God for us, a seal of the “New and Better” covenant God has made with us who believe. We have been bought with a price, a very precious price. Do you rightly discern the Lord’s body and what He has done for you, or do you give sickness and disease place in your life. When sickness tries to come on you do you speak what the Word of God says to it or do you just receive the sickness? Jesus already bore all sickness and disease so we wouldn’t have to! It’s a done deal – He said”It is finished!”
Can someone shout Praise the Lord! \0/ \0/ \0/ \0/ \0/

MY PRAYER…
Holy Father, praise the glorious Name of Jesus. Father as we partake of communion with You help us to fully understand everything that You meant it to be. Lord, open the eyes of our understanding and fill us with revelation of You and Your Word. Lord, help us to understand ALL that was done for us by Jesus on the Cross that day. Lord help us to understand who we are in, by, and through Jesus. Lord purge us of all unrighteousness that we may be as vessels of honor worthy to be used by You. In Jesus’ Holy name and by the power of His Blood I boldly make this request of You.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Wednesday, Nov 2, 2016

“Looking for love in all the wrong places!”

He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity, and honor.
Proverbs 21:21 New International Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Isn’t it funny that most of us pursue worldly things like fame and fortune, according to the world, the best things in life(?) according to those who are worldly. We strive to find happiness, joy, significance or meaning to life in and through these things. But we seldom find it, because we are looking in all the wrong places. You’ve heard the song “Looking for love in all the wrong places.” We are looking in the world and the things of the world to try and satisfy our spiritual need instead of looking to God and the things of God which are Spiritual. We are not following the principles that God laid out in His Word. “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and ALL these things will be added unto you.” What things? All the things mentioned above that we are looking for, that we are looking to make ourselves happy through! However, when we offer ourselves wholeheartedly to the Lord and His will (seeking His Kingdom first), it is then that we find what we most need. It is then that the empty spot in our hearts is filled. When we have laid down our lives and picked up the life (Zoë life) of God, it is then that we are overcome with joy unspeakable and full of glory receiving the end of our faith (Eternal Salvation.) Are you aware that the Hebrew word for Salvation means: something saved, i.e. deliverance; hence aid, victory, prosperity:–deliverance, health, help (-ing), salvation, save, saving (health). Yes, salvation is much more than just going to heaven someday, it is also health, prosperity, deliverance from whatever you need delivered from, it is victory over everything, and it is for now here on Earth! I didn’t say that God did. Why is it that many churches and preachers only preach salvation as going to Heaven when you die? God said in His Word “On Earth just as it is in Heaven.” The Word of God says I can have Heaven here on Earth now! Is there sickness in Heaven? Is there poverty in Heaven, whose streets are made of gold? Is there lack in Heaven? Are people depressed and sad in Heaven?
There answer to ALL of these ?s in NO! emphatically NO! Then if I can have Heaven on Earth now, I can be set free, lack for nothing, be prosperous, and be healthy here and NOW! I just have to submit to God and His Word. Look to God for Love and you will find it!

MY PRAYER…
Precious Father, Giver of every good and perfect gift, I ask today that You give me a chance to serve You and others in a way which glorifies Your kingdom. Father, help me to lay aside my life and the cares and things that come with it and to pick up Your life. I thank You that in the process You choose to fulfill the desires of my heart, because Your Word says it is so. Father, fill that empty place in my heart with Your Holy Spirit and Your great and precious love. This I ask and pray through my Lord and Savior, Jesus.
Amen

TODAY’S MANNA for Tuesday Nov 1, 2016

Does your lifestyle bear the fruits of the Spirit of God?

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
Galatians 5:16 King James Version

Or if you need an amplified version so you can hear what God is saying to you:
But I say, walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to
and controlled and guided by the Spirit of God]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).
Galatians 5:16 Amplified Version

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
It is so much easier to live by and do the things that we can see, hear, feel, taste, and touch in the natural than it is to do the things of the Spirit. Of course the point is simple: what we can see, hear, feel, taste, and touch appear to be more real to us than something in the spiritual realm. That’s why we need to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit within us and His presence upon us also (as on the day of Pentecost), to help us walk and live by the spirit, this is so important. Not just His Spirit from the new birth, but a Pentecostal experience of the Holy Spirit coming upon us subsequent to and apart from the new birth. Once this happens He enables and empowers us to move beyond our sin nature — not by focusing on it and refusing it, but by enriching us and empowering us to do the important things of God, so that we will not even want to do the things we used to, but shouldn’t do now. He will give us the want to, and then the strength to do so. He helps us to destroy old habits and create new ones based on our walk (our living out) by the Spirit. He will erase the old programming tapes (of the mind) and write over them with new programming from the Word of God. To live by the flesh is death, but to live by the Spirit is Life!
“casting down arguments (imaginations) and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” 2 Corinthians 10:5

MY PRAYER…
Abba Father, I thank you so much for Your Holy Spirit that lives in me and is now empowering me with His presence upon me to do that which pleasing to You. Thank you Lord for continuing to fill me anew each day with Your Holy Spirit so that my life more nearly reflects Your will and focuses on Your concerns. Through Your Holy Son Jesus, who sent Your Spirit to dwell in and upon me, I pray.
Amen
