The Holiest of Holies

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE(s)…
Are you Bold before God? Can and do you enter the Holiest of Holies?
God says here in His Word that we Christians, (those born again through Jesus) are to have boldness to be able to enter into the Holiest of Holies. The very Throne Room of God, into His very presence. But the reason for this boldness is not our works or our holiness. Instead we are to come boldly to the throne based on what the Blood of Jesus has done for us. It’s the power of His Blood having cleansed us of all unrighteousness that allows us to come boldly before God’s throne. There is NO other way period! The Blood that makes us as white as snow. The Blood that was shed once for all sin and placed on the heavenly altar. You need to plead the Blood of Jesus over yourself and then come boldly before the Throne of God. But first, you must have made Jesus the Lord of your life! That is the only prerequisite, Jesus must be your Lord.

MY PRAYER…
Precious and Mighty Father, thank You for access into Your Holiest of Holies. Thank You Father that by Your mercy and grace, through the Blood of Your son Jesus, I can come boldly before Your Throne of Grace. Thank You Lord that though I was once unworthy and unrighteous in Your eyes, You have cleansed me and made me the righteousness of You through the precious Blood of my Lord Jesus. I thank You Father that Jesus has paid the full price for me and that I have been bought by His precious Blood. In Jesus’ Holy name and by the power of His Blood I pray.

Lost And Without Hope

That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE(s)…
Do you have Jesus, or are you lost and without hope?
God’s Word says that though we were once worldly and far off we can draw near through the Blood of Jesus. That’s the only way – there is NO other way to God! IF someone is telling you there is another way to The Father and Heaven, they are a liar and representing the devil. The devil wants you to think there are many ways to God. In fact God says in His Word that we can actually come boldly before His Throne! Though we were once strangers to God, Jesus, when He is your Lord, has made a way for us. He has broken down the wall that once separated us from God. We now have access through the Blood of Jesus to the ‘Most High God’ (El Elyown). Notice however, that the access is only through Jesus. There is no other way to gain access to God the Father, than through Jesus Christ, No Other way, not Budda, Alla, or some great spirit in the sky! I didn’t say that, God’s Word said that. Don’t let anyone tell you anything different. Just tell them “It is written!”

MY PRAYER…
Most High God, thank You for access to You through Your son Jesus and the shedding of His Blood for me. Thank You Lord that though I was once separated from you and was far away You are drawing me nearer and nearer each day through the precious Blood of Jesus. I thank You Lord that Jesus has removed that veil that was once separating me from You and that I can now come near by my faith in Jesus. That I can come boldly to the Throne of God and receive mercy.

Being An Overcomer

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE(s)…
Are you an overcomer?
Who was cast down from heaven? The accuser (the devil, Satan) of our brethren and all those angels who had chosen to follow him, roughly a third of the angels followed the devil. Not us, not the saints, we were not cast out! How did we overcome the accuser? By the Blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and by the word of our testimony in and through Jesus. The real power came from His Blood, that’s where we received the power to make and share our testimony, after being cleansed by His Blood. Have you been cleansed by Jesus yet? Have you made Jesus the Lord of your life? It’s not enough just to go to church, you must accept Jesus as your Lord.
Are you victorious, an overcomer, washed in the Blood of Jesus?

MY PRAYER…
Holy Father, thank You that the accuser has been cast down. That he no longer has any authority over us who believe. That You, Father, through Your Holy Son have redeemed us, bought us back, and set us in heavenly places with Jesus. That we have been raised high above the powers and principalities of darkness and translated into Your Kingdom of light. Thank You Almighty Father for access into Your Holiest of Holies. Thank You Lord for access to all the promises in Your Word by the Blood of Jesus.

Have you been reconciled by Jesus’ Blood?

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE(s)…
Here we see that the “Blood” of Jesus has reconciled us to God (brought us together as friends.) His Blood has first satisfied the broken Law (Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;) and remitted (paid the price for) our sin. Then secondly it has satisfied our guilty conscience. Nothing but the Blood of Jesus can do this for us – nothing else! There is NO other Way! We see in Hebrews 9:14, How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?. If we understand the power of the “Blood” of Jesus we have no reason to have a guilty conscience or to have conscientiousness of sin any longer once we have received Jesus as our Lord and Savior. He’s already paid the price in full. Not that we are free to continue to sin, but if we do sin He has already cleansed us. We just have to ask for forgiveness from our hearts and it is done for us.

MY PRAYER…
Holy Father, Most High God, thank You for reconciling me to You through Jesus’ Blood. Thank You Lord for the awesome cleansing power of His blood. Thank You Lord for purging my conscience of dead works and of a sin nature. I thank You Father that I am now the righteousness of You in Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name I give You All Glory and Honor forevermore.

The Blood of The Lamb?

And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Are you covered by the Blood of the Lamb?
Here God is telling us that because of the blood of the lamb that was placed on their doorposts He will cause the Angel of death to pass-over them and their household. They will not be affected by the death plague. But any doorpost that does not have the blood of the lamb on it He will allow the Angel of death to strike their firstborn, both of them and of their livestock. One thing here that is very important for you to note – It is NOT God who is striking the first born, it is the angel of death. God did NOT do it! But He did allow the angel of death to do it. But, he still in fact gave them a way out, a way to protect themselves with the blood of a lamb. That was then and today it is The Blood of Jesus that covers and protects us now. Jesus, The Lamb of God!
God tells them to make this day a memorial and to keep it throughout their generations. He is saying; “remember that which I have done for you!” This was Old Covenant – this was for the Israelites, the Jewish people, God’s Chosen ones. But, we have a much better Covenant now! Under the “New Covenant” Jesus has covered all of mankind with His precious Blood. The only thing necessary to be covered by it is to make Jesus your Lord! No other work or works are necessary, just believe in Jesus. It’s so easy! The Blood of the Sacrificial Lamb, shed once for all my sin and for my forgiveness. His Blood shed once for all will be my daily pass-over from now on. We need to remember what Jesus did for us! We need to put ourselves under that Blood each and every day.

MY PRAYER…
Abba Father, thank You for sending Jesus to be the Sacrificial Lamb for me. Thank You for the shedding of His Blood that my sin might be washed away, forgotten, cleansed by His blood. Thank You Lord for putting me in remembrance of what Jesus did for me. That through Him by the washing of His blood I have been made the righteousness of God in Jesus. In the precious name of Jesus, I pray.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Do you ever wonder what you need to wear to that special meeting? Paul reminds us that we have a set of clothing that is always in style no matter what the meeting or with who. We wear this clothing because we are God’s special people, a chosen people. This clothing is from the “Ultimate Designer’s” collection and is called ‘God’s Character’ and is best worn when we are with and around other people. These qualities are hard to wear, but always a blessing to those who meet us when we’re decked out in His wardrobe. This is the Robes of Righteousness given us through the blood of Jesus. Wear them proudly, but with humility and meekness.

MY PRAYER…
Abba Father, thank You for bringing me into Your family. May I never disappoint You in the way I treat others. May they see in me the qualities of character that can only be attributed to Your presence in my life. Father thank You for giving me Your Robes of Righteousness, may I wear them in a manner worthy of You. To You be the glory and the honor, forever and ever, through Jesus my Lord.

Separation from God

I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither present nor the future, nor powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is ours in Christ Jesus our Lord.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Separation is something we fear whether it’s from a child, a parent, a sibling, a spouse, a friend, or from God. Paul explains here that, because Jesus bore our separation from God, by becoming our sIn and going to the cross for us we do not have to face that separation from God. On the Cross that day He experienced our separation from God as He cried out: “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” He had never known separation from God before that time. We can know we won’t ever have to be separated from God’s love if we are in Christ and Christ is in us, unless you choose to separate yourself from God. There may be physical separation but I believe that nothing, no not anything, can separate me spiritually from the love of God toward me. Jesus paid the price for me, He made the way for me. A way I could not make for myself, nor you for yourself!

MY PRAYER…
Holy Father, thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for giving me the promise that nothing can separate me from Your love. Please continue to fill me with your Spirit and make me more aware of Your accompanying presence in my life each and every day. Lord help me to understand the things that I do not, so that I can grow more and more in Your Love. Father, give me both the want to and the power to be able to love as You love.

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Love does not focus on me, myself, or I. But instead, love focuses on others. Love focuses on someone else besides me, myself, and I. Each of these qualities of love in the scripture above is based upon an affectionate, compassionate, and forgiving attitude that regards others of value and not just self. It is an unconditional love, just like God’s. You can NOT tell someone you forgive them for something and in the next breath say, “but I’ll never forget what you did!” You’ve just kept a record and love doesn’t keep records! God’s Love is unconditional love! Did you ever notice that in the middle of “sIn” is a big I!

MY PRAYER…
Holy Father, teach me to notice others and value them just as You do. I know You loved me when I was not lovable, and redeemed me when I was not worthy. Help me to take my eyes off myself and see others as You see them. Help me to love others as You love ALL.

It’s all very simple and very basic really!

God is love. He is its origin, example, and architect. I love because He loved me first. I know how to love because He has demonstrated it to me. I can love because He made me to have His image and likeness, and He gave me His Spirit and His character and because He lives in me His love is also in me. He is the fountain, the motivation, and the pinnacle of love. I love because He does, first, last, and always. And His love is unconditional Love, you don’t have to earn it! He just loves us.

MY PRAYER…
God of all comfort, thank You for comforting me with Your love. Just as a child learns from parents how to do so many things, I want to learn to love as You do: sacrificially, selflessly, and submissively. That others may know that they do not have to earn Your love, only receive it. I want to learn to love as You do: that others will see You in me. Help me Holy Father, to be more like You every day. In Jesus name I pray.

Are You Still Trying To Out Guess God?

THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY’S VERSE…
Are you still trying to figure out God, to out guess Him?

No matter how hard we try to perceive God and perceive what He has for us, He is still God and we are not. We must forever remember that the original, and still primary sin was to try to become God through rebellion & disobedience. Lucifer (now known as Satan, Lucifer is not and does not refer to the Devil or Satan, it refers to a beautiful Archangel before he rebelled!) thought that he had become as God and was greater than his Creator. We must never become like that. We are to submit to His will for our lives and do it His way. We are to know God, but we can never fully know all of His thoughts or become what He is. We are to take on His character and His image, but we cannot become Him. God knows the ‘Big’ picture for us, we only know in part as He allows us to see. This is both exciting and frustrating. But the promise remains that one day we will see Him as He is.
Quit trying to figure out God and just remember, He is God!

MY PRAYER…
Most loving Father, thank You for being so patient with me when I cannot fully understand and appreciate Your Holy character. Thank You for sending Jesus so I can know You better and trust You to know me better than I know myself. Thank You Father for allowing me to come boldly into Your presence and into Your throne room. Father, continue to reveal Your thoughts to me as I go through life, that I may know Your perfect will for my life. Through Jesus, my Lord and Saviour, I offer my thanks and praise.
